Ice Cream Ministry

“Faith in the City” is a UCM small group ministry that helps students explore new places around town with new people they wouldn’t normally meet on campus.

We took a ministry walk to Rhea’s Ice Cream in downtown San Marcos where we bought free ice cream. The only catch was: you weren’t allowed to order your own dessert, you had to get someone in the group that you didn’t know to order your ice cream. This sparked fun conversations and helped people get to know each other!
