SPRING 2022 PROGRAM DETAILS
Apóstolos meets every other Sunday evening from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the United Campus Ministry at Texas State. There will be at least one Daytrip Retreat scheduled in the spring. Given the cohort nature of the group, attendance in required for all sessions.

The world is undergoing a deep shift. Leaders need to have ‘adaptive leadership’ skills to chart a new path as we move forward in the future.
Session 2 | EXPLORE YOUR IDENTITY

God created us each with a set of unique gifts and graces. We will spend time to better understand our specific spirtual gifts and how we relate to the world through the Enneagram.
Session 3 | DISCERN YOUR PURPOSE

In this session, we will examine our personal core values how taking time to discern a clear, concise, and compelling purpose gives us clarity in our lives.
Session 4 | INCARNATION AT THE EDGE
Austin Ministry in the Community Overnight
Friday March 4 4:00pm - Saturday March 5 6:00pm
This overnight trip features the spiritual practice of acts of mercy as we explore ministry beyond the walls of the church. We’ll spend Friday evening in downtown Austin with a Saturday visit to Community First village.
Session 5 | ENGAGE IN COMMUNITY

This session will help us better understand our neighbors, identify asset based community strategies, and explore ways to make a difference with people around us.
Session 6 | WISDOM OF UNLEARNING

The key to continued growth in God is a sense of wonder and curiosity. In this session, we will look at the ministry example of Jesus and practice creating well-formed questions.
CONCLUSION | LEADERSHIP STORY SLAM

Participants will share the chapter of their story they’ve written during Apostolos that includes their core values, their purpose, their community, their spiritual gifts, their assists, their preferred spiritual practice, where they need help and where they want to grow next.
