UCM Ghana Mission Fellow

Hallie Jones serving in ministry in Africa
This fall, the UCM is supporting Texas State sophomore Hallie Jones as she spends three months doing ministry in Medie, Ghana. An agriculture major, Hallie will help plan agriculture and sustainability-related projects (for Texas State credit) while also assisting the local school's art ministries with whom Hallie's home United Methodist Church has an established relationship. We at the UCM are prayerfully excited to support her mission work this semester in funding part of her $3,000 mission expense.

Hallie is seeking donations of specific art supplies that will travel well to Africa and pass through customs. In particular she could use:

Used or new wooden-handle paintbrushes (please no plastic brushes),
trays of dry watercolor paints (please no tubes of liquid watercolors),
new crayons,
and new colored pencils. These donations can be dropped off at the UCM by Wednesday August 22nd.

Hallie is an active member of the UCM helping lead worship, serving at UMARMY, participating in our weekly Bible studies, and more. She will return to Texas State to continue her studies and involvement in our ministry in Spring 2019!
